SCARBO receives Danza&Danza Award

January 23, 2025

Congratulations! Manon Parent receives the Danza&Danza prize for her solo "Scarbo", which the dancer developed together with Ioannis Mandafounis. Scarbo is a gnome, a goblin - the title of the piece is borrowed from Maurice Ravel. Ravel's music also opens the evening. The longer Manon Parent dances, the more the audience is drawn into her innermost world. A world in which sadness, anger, joy, helplessness and strength exist.

The prizes awarded by the dance critics of Danza&Danza magazine recognise shows, choreographers, dancers and projects presented on Italian stages in 2024 and also honour Italian talent abroad. ‘Scarbo’ was part of the Torino Danza Festival.
