I like when I can see, feel and live emotions without knowing how it will lead to movement.
Audrey Dionis studied contemporary dance at The Manufacture in Lausanne. She has worked as a freelance dancer and choreographer in Switzerland, France, Germany and Estonia with Pierre Piton, Cyril Baldy, Jasmine Morand and Solène Schnüriger, among others. She created the performance “Hooked” together with Anne-Charlotte Hubert. In 2021, she performed in “One One One” by Ioannis Mandafounis in Lyon and worked with him again in 2022 for the performance “Consens-us”. In addition to dance, she is also passionate about music, Chinese martial arts and meditation, for example in Tai Chi and Shaolin. She received her state diploma as a teacher of contemporary dance from Rencontres Internationales de Danse Contemporaine (RIDC) in Paris. She feels a strong connection to the work of Deborah Hay and has been very impressed to witness the way Hay has developed a choreographic and written language over the years.
