It was a celebration! Last night, JOIN by Ioannis Mandafounis celebrated its Frankfurt premiere at the Bockenheimer Depot. JOIN is the first piece of the season and the company's first piece to work with local dance students. Accordingly, 25 students from the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts will be on stage together with our ensemble in JOIN.

The "Join" project will be accompanied by an extensive programme that goes beyond the usual discussion formats such as introductions and post-performance talks: on 16 October, Carolin Grumbach from the Institute for Climate Impact Research will give a lecture that explores the topic of sustainability in greater depth. Also not to be missed is the performance "One One One", which will take place on Wednesday, 16.10. in its largest version with around 50 dancers at various locations in Frankfurt.

"Join" is funded by the German Federal Cultural Foundation's “Fonds Zero” programme and is together with "One One One" part of this year's FLAB Festival.
