Behind the scenes: Film shoot for the Senckenberg Naturmuseum

March 5, 2024

"Behind the scenes" or should we rather say: "Behind the trees"?

For our cooperation project "If you don't get lost in the woods, you haven't been to the woods" with the Senckenberg Naturmuseum Frankfurt, we headed to the Taunus with a small team. Once there, we shot a short film that will be shown as part of the "Forests" exhibition (March 16 to August 11, 2024) at the Senckenberg Museum.

Our dancers Thomas Bradley and Nastia Ivanova made their way through the undergrowth, climbed mountains and ventured further and further into the forest.

The DFDC will not only be present in the exhibition in the form of the artistic film project. You can also meet the two dancers live as part of our performance on selected dates in the museum. Where am I now? Where did I end up? What kind of place is this? Visitors can ask themselves these questions as they accompany our dancers live through the exhibition and lose themselves in the forest.

The performance will take place in the exhibition on the following dates:

16.03.2024 from 16:30 as part of the exhibition opening

20.03. / 03.04. / 10.04. / 24.04. / 08.05. / 15.05. / 22.05. / 29.05.2024 from 18:30

17.04. & 01.05.2024 from 16:30
